All of our Saturday matinees take place at The Paul O'Reagan Hall on the first floor of the Central Library.

Price: Free!

Thanks to the generous support of the Halifax Central Library and the Spring Garden Road Business Association, we are able to offer these performances to you for free!

First-come, first-serve
​
Capacity for the venue is 300, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The doors will open 30 minutes before each performance, at 12:30pm.

Shakespeare By The Sea's mission is to keep live theatre accessible to all!
Although these performances are free, we will still gladly accept donations to our cause, if you have the means. Our iconic red donation bins will be present at the library if you feel the need to support us when you're there!
