The Park Place Theatre is an 87-seat Black Box theatre venue located on the edge of Point Pleasant Park, in Halifax’s historic South End. 

The venue is used for poor-weather performances during the SBTS summer season, and throughout the fall and winter it serves as the home of the Studio @ SBTS, and a rental venue available to the community at large, for meetings, workshops, rehearsals and performance.

SBTSHalifax performances takes place in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people. The territory is covered by the Treaty of Peace and Friendship, which Mi'kmaq and Maliseet People first signed with the British crown in 1725.
